🏜️ Mag-7: The Magnificent Seven

A bucket-list trail system linking the upper and lower sections of Gemini Bridges.

The Mag-7 network is Moab’s premier point-to-point shuttle experience. While there are dozens of ways to connect these trails, we recommend two primary routes, depending on your skill level and appetite for “The Portal.”

🚐 Shuttle Logistics & Pickups

Option 1: The Full Mag-7 (Extreme/Expert)

Classic Route: Getaway ➔ Bull Run ➔ Great Escape ➔ Little Canyon ➔ Gold Bar ➔ Gold Bar Rim ➔ The Portal

⚠️ Warning: The Portal Trail is an infamous, highly advanced singletrack. It features extreme exposure and high-consequence technical moves. Stay alert: this trail has been fatal for unprepared riders.

Logistics: Park your vehicle at the Bottom of Portal Parking Area to skip the 7-mile paved pedal back to town.

Option 2: The Mag-5 (Intermediate/Advanced)

Route: Getaway ➔ Bull Run ➔ Arth’s Corner ➔ Little Canyon ➔ Exit via Gemini Bridges Road

The Vibe: All the best “flow-tech” and scenery of the upper Mag-7—without the life-altering exposure of the Portal or the brutal climb up Gold Bar Rim.

Logistics: Park your vehicle at the Bar-M Saloon Chuckwagon Lot to skip the 6-mile pedal back to town.

Option 3: In-Town Pickup

  • In-Town Pickup: Meet us at Rim Cyclery Bike Shop for all in-town departures.
  • Custom Routes: The network is flexible. You can also link into Golden Spike or Poison Spider if you’re looking for a custom “mega-day” in the saddle.

Raptor Route
■ Blue Square - Intermediate

The Raptor Route is an excellent downhill route that is great on its own or as part of the Whole Enchilada. This nearly 10 mile bidirectional trail is sometimes referred to as Eagle Eye to Falcon Flow.

Falcon Flow
■ Blue Square - Intermediate

The Falcon Flow trail is an intermediate-level trail in the Sand Flats area between Slickrock and Porcupine Rim Classic. This singletrack MTB trail is a popular intermediate-level ride.

Eagle Eye
■ Blue Square - Intermediate

The Eagle Eye is a short 2.3-mile connector trail off of Sand Flats Road and the Whole Enchilada routes. As part of the Raptor Route, this trail is an alternative to the Lower Porcupine Rim Classic singletrack, known as LPS off of Upper Porcupine Singletrack, UPS.
